Cassville, GA, June 2, 2014 – Loudermilk for Congress today announced that Marietta Mayor Steve “Thunder” Tumlin has endorsed Barry Loudermilk in Georgia’s 11th Congressional District runoff election scheduled for July 22.
“I am proud to announce my endorsement of Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Congress. I have known Barry for many years, and he has consistently been a champion of business and free markets. Owning and operating a small business in our District gives Barry a perspective that is essential for fostering growth and job creation for its citizens.” Mayor Tumlin stated, ” I have complete confidence that Barry will work tirelessly to reduce and remove burdensome regulation, encourage pro-growth policies, and help protect our local assets like Dobbins and Lockheed. The people of Marietta, Cobb County, and the entire District will benefit from having Barry Loudermilk represent us in Congress.”
“This endorsement is a real honor, said Loudermilk. “Mayor Tumlin is an asset to Marietta and Cobb County. Our great grassroots team in Cobb helped propel us to a win the county on May 20, and with strong supporters like Mayor Thunder Tumlin joining the team, we can expect to have an even better result on July 22.”
