“Georgia has the opportunity to send a representative to Congress who understands the challenges of those who are serving in our armed forces.”

Cassville, GA – National Defense PAC, Chaired by Rear Admiral James J. Carey today announced their endorsement of Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Congress.

“Georgia has the opportunity to send a representative to Congress who understands the challenges of those who are serving in our armed forces,” Admiral Carey said. He, also understands the patriotic devotion to this country most of those individuals experience. According to the Congressional Research Service, only 20% of the men and women, presently, in congress have served in the military with the number reducing each Congress. This is of significant importance to all citizens as we send off our sons and daughters, nieces and nephews in harm’s way throughout the world. Each year, Congress hammers out the budget, including the cuts that are asked annually of the Department of Defense which directly affects those who serve and our veterans who have served.”

"Not only is this a meaningful endorsement to me as a veteran, but also as the father of a soldier," Said Barry Loudermilk.  "It is imperative that our Representatives in Congress understand the struggles and sacrifices of our Armed Forces. The mission of National Defense PAC is not just to elect more veterans, but to seek out those who understand the vision of our Founders and who are willing to go to Washington and stand on principle. I’m humbled by the kind words by Rear Admiral Carey, and will do my utmost to fulfill the mission of National Defense PAC."
